Thanks to the fantastic support of our parents, we were able to take the whole of Year 3 to the local woods. We were following a clue that we’d found earlier last week. We found some old documents about our local area…we need to let the Lord Mayor know and decide what to do next!
3LH had a fabulous time at Harlow Carr! They were experts on the different parts of a plant and did a fabulous job of being pollinators!

We have been looking at features of a play, written together as a class, the children wrote as a group and finally they performed them today! Great work!
3LH have been learning about water transportation in plants. We have made predictions and investigated with food colouring, blue roll and celery!
Winnie from the Dogs Trust came to visit 3LH. We learnt about how to look after dogs and how to be safe around them. She was lovely and even posed for the camera!
